Neat post. Wind tunnel tests? I can hear the engineer now. "Yep it stops the wind really well" There may have been tests but I'm not sure if it was to make it aerodynamic.

I wonder how many hours of my life would have been saved if GM had used this hood/fender/cowl design...
I would have loved this change! I also like what appears to be a crash portion in the lower fenders. |
