Anybody Use These Rims?
I got a set of these brand new for $40 this weekend off a 2016 or 17 Toyota FJ Cruiser and the lug pattern fits. I am not certain about the offset. But they are off a four wheel drive so they should be good for my C10. I may need a spacer. I was able to use a heat gun and remove the little Toyota emblem in the center. They are nice, machined rims. (Nice for the price anyway.) Has anybody got pics of these 17 inchers on one of our trucks?

Re: Anybody Use These Rims?
I like that the toyota wheels have the larger center bore.

Re: Anybody Use These Rims?
I'll be watching to see how this goes. I've got a set of 17x7.5 steelies from a 4runner that look like they'll need at least a 1 inch spacer in the rear. Maybe if you have a 70.5+ truck with the wider diff the spacers might not be needed?

Re: Anybody Use These Rims?
ON topic...........
I have an 2005 Tundra. The cap on that wheel is a piece of crap. When they break don't bother with replacements at $80 a piece, aftermarket runs $15ish, and I believe they're built better too. Perspective......... Some feel parts for our trucks are expensive. I had just bought an NOS set of beautiful rally hub caps at $35 a piece before I realized I needed new caps for my Toyota. Let me know when our tail light lenses run $180 a piece, because that's the price to replace one on my Toyota. BTW, I look forward to some pics. if they fit. I bet they look nice.

Re: Anybody Use These Rims?
Thank you all, and yeah I like the fact that the hub hole is larger. I am going to have the plastic caps possible painted black but I was able to get the little logo off with no problems so maybe not.
Does anybody know the max tire size that will fit a stock stanced C10 on 17 inch rims. I want a wider tire and also to flush mount with the fender in the front if possible. But I also want the same tire size all around. |
