Quick question, I'm hanging my front crossmember and I'm finding that there are four tapped holes in it that are 7/16-20.
My question is, are the rest of the bolts that are used to assemble this 7/16" or 3/8"? I bought 1/2" bolts but they're all too big....
If you can tell me this will keep me from having to rummage through all the bags of old bolts

I don't recall the front cross member on my trucks having tapped holes. This is riveted to the frame and has a hole to accommodate a clamp for the brake lines.

They are all 7/16-20 grade 8 bolts. The ones that are threaded have weld nuts inside the frame.

I think he is talking about the main cross member with the "A" arms Pete. The small one in front of it is riveted though.
