Bagging the C10 (eventually) and probably cutting the front inner fenders for clearance.
Like the high dollar hinge kits, but would rather come up with a cost effective solution that utilizes the factory hinges without springs. Has anyone done such a modification to include a gas strut for our hoods? I tried searching and didn't see anything. TIA |

You could do something like Porterbuilt used to make. Uses the factory hinge and has provision for a strut on the tubular bar going to the front. I like it.
