69' c10 ?'s, factory tach?

If a truck had a factory tach would it be listed on the spid? How about PS/PB?
One more question, when did GM stop using bed wood in fleet sides? I see some w/ wood and some with steel. If wood was an option would that be on the spid? THX GUYS.

Yes, factory tach should be listed on the SPID as RPO U16. PS & PB should also be on the SPID as well.

The last year for the wood floor option in the fleetside beds was 1980. It shows up on the SPID as RPO E81.

I was really surprised when I saw a wood bed in a '74 Chevy, just recently. And now hearing that it was an option until 1980, wow!

Yeah, it wasn't a very common option in the '73 to '80 trucks and was limited to 8' beds only during those years. My grandfather ordered a '77 with the E81 wood floor and Dad has the truck now. Here is an old thread showing some before & after restoration photos of the wood floor --> http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=3676943

Thanks for the build thread Ray, I love that truck!

My first 4x4 was a '77 Chevy Cheyenne short bed, same color blue only not two tone, bought in '78 with 16k miles on it. $5800 bucks!! I loved that truck, it was run hard... sorry for hijacking the tread
