Any high HP bagged setups?
I have a 86 C10 that is bagged front and rear the rear is a six link KP and I was wanting to know if anyone has a set up that is working pretty well with hooking up. Right now I have the bags and everything and I am building the motor looking for about 700 to the tire

I know there are some on here. Might take a bit for them to show up though.
I've been doing my research because I am on bags and plan on doing a turbo set up. One limitation for you (us) is that the front springs don't have any potential energy to assist with weight transfer. Another issue is that your four link does not have any anti squat in it. I set mine up to have some anti squat but with your bars being parallel you are missing out on some benefits. Maybe someone else can jump in with some additional information.

With a parallel bar 4link you basically have up and down movement of the suspension which is fine for mild street use...ideally for high hp as a starting point you would want your lower bar level and your upper bar at a slight decline going towards the front..if you can imagine both bars extending beyond the front of the truck you would want them to imaginarilly intersect about 3-4 feet ahead of the front bumper..this is the way a drag car is initially setup...if that intersection point was shorter (say that point intersected at the front wheel) your weight transfer is shorter meaning it will pull the front end up faster as weight transfers to the rear...if you extended that point to say 10 ft ahead of the bumper you would have less weight transferring to the rear meaning it wouldn't have as much weight transfer to the rear for traction...so shorter is more leverage and longer is less leverage..with a adjustable 4 link you can fine tune this weight transfer for ideal traction..to much weight transfer is wasted energy and not enough weight transfer is lost energy

Mongocanfly covered it well and that article is a good one. Max knows his stuff for sure.
I could be wrong but I though for a drag set up you wanted the instant center much closer to the center or rear of the car (while on that center of gravity line). To change yours I would make a new set of upper link mounts on the axle side. Have the holes drilled to match the radius of your link bars. That way you can play with the amount of your anti squat and tailor it to your needs. Also you might want to move this to the racing section.

on a drag car if you move the instant center to far back it will stand straight up in the air given enough traction and hp to do it..the instant center will change depending on how much weight you've got and where it is.. .had a local drag guy that set his chevy2 up to do just that..he loved doing those 150ft long wheelstands..

As close as kings 4 link bars are together I would be concerned about putting go much hp on it..but it might be fine...it would definitely be better off with more spacing and like tiny says raise the rear of the top bar
