S-10 seats?
Hey to all, new poster here. I've been lurking in the shadows for a while.
My question is--Has anyone put S-10 seats into their C-10? I've searched the wrecking yards for full size Chevy seats, but seem to only find S-10 seats. Thanks. |

Howdy from sunny western Washington. The fsize-Chevy seats are getting harder to find. A friend just bought a 2004 Dodge bench to put in his '69. It shouldn't need to much modification. S10 buckets would probably work, but an S10 bench would be much too narrow.

Welcome from Central Mississippi. I don't understand how full size seats are so hard to locate there. They are like a dime a dozen here.

What style? Like 88-94, or like 95-98 or like the 99-up ones with integrated seatbelts? Also, one piece, 60/40 or other? Cloth, leather? It all depends on what you want. I got an 88-94 model one piece bench (cloth) with the driver's armrest that comes out of the seatback for like $50 in perfect condition. I put it in my former '69 C-10 and it was a perfect fit. We have a yard in town that carries nothing but trucks, SUVs and vans. No cars at all.

exactly what bench seats will fit in a 67-72 c10? For instance, what year of truck and what model ( if it matters) as well as any SUV's that would fit. I'm looking for a direct bolt in deal here, not fabbing up so I can easily reverse anything I do...

Oh my goodness....for $350, i'm sure I can get a power, leather with power lumbar support (ranging from 1996-2003). That's just insane. But we are talking about Mississippi here.

Start a side business. Buy 'em cheap and sell 'em on e-bay.

If they are buckets, you can 'make it work', but there will be a lot of space between them. Better build a console in size large. Just drill you some holes in the floor and bolt 'em down. You may have to fab up a frame if they sit too low. But everything is trial and error.

Hey Putter I'm looking for something out of 98 on down to 88. I like the 40/20/40 seats. I would be happy with a 60/40 . What do you think that would run. Could you pm me with the name and address of this place. I may have to take a trip to Jackson. It is not too far from Baton Rouge

Hey Phase,
I just got off the phone with the owner (pretty good friend of mine) and for a 88-98 truck seat other than buckets (excludes Tahoe/Sub), the price will range from $50-$150. That depends on condition, year, fabric (leather vs. cloth), etc... I can PM you the phone number, name, etc... I would be more than happy to go out there with you to ensure you get the best price. He has MANY acres of nothing but trucks, vans and SUVs (no cars). Anyway, the PM is on the way.
