Who Sells An 81 Shift Lever?

Need a new column shift lever for a 81 - the only levers for sale seem to be 73-80 style - the 81 style lever is fairly short and curvy, does anyone make/sell aftermarket 81 style levers?

I am pretty sure there is a difference between tilt and non tilt shift levers which my be why you are noticing more of a curve

Yeah no tilt on my 81 and the aftermarket 73-80 levers out there are advertised as for tilt, so your probably onto something here.

This is similar to how all the aftermarket ones look; after it leaves the column it goes an inch or two before it curves at all and has real abrupt curves.



My lever starts curving almost immediately after leaving the column. This ended ebay auction is how my 81 lever looks (click the sold thumbnail in upper left to see larger pics):
