Re: El Chingon

I don't know how I've gone so long without seeing this thread, but I've fixed my error and am now following along. Nice work so far. Your welds look good and I'm liking the home made trailing arm brackets and spacers. Nice touch!

Well it fit. It's close to the coil packs but it clears.

Not yet, I'm getting close to where I need to assemble the whole truck as far as sheet metal goes. When I get that far I will snap a shot of it. Thanks man.

Re: El Chingon

Well I did more repair on parts that I have purchased then working on the truck. I'm getting tired of buying things and fixing them to my satisfaction. Let's take this gem of a part right here. You are selling a part that supplements a Porterbuilt part, it better be up to a certain standard right? Look at this thing, tack welds are poor and the laser work even poorer. Lead in and outs programmed wrong on the CNC table and cut quality is sad. Anyway, I can fix it.

Re: El Chingon

I did get one of the inner fenders in today also. It took a lot of massaging to fit. I can expect that I guess with aftermarket fenders. They are way to big for my 17 inch wheels, but I want to be able to put big rollers on it later if I want.

Re: El Chingon

Gotta love a classic tally, very envious of the machine large you have access to. It would make my ideas go a lot smoother on my truck lol
