Altman door latch/lock?
Ok this may have been asked before but could not find what I am looking for in my search. Anyhow, I installed the Altman latches and want to install the outside keyed lock in the passenger side door. Problem I am running into is I bought a new retro door lock and keys. The shaft I know needs to be trimmed down but the shaft on the new lock is smaller than the hole in the Altman latch. When in it just spins and barely catches. Has anyone who installed these latches had trouble putting the key lock in? Anyone have pics or thoughts? Much appreciated.

Re: Altman door latch/lock?
I used these latches with an re-pop key cylinder and after two attempts I got it right. I decided to use their power door lock assembly so I could have the drivers door to lock too. Honestly, the power lock assembly was easier to install then the manual key.

Re: Altman door latch/lock?
Sorry non power and using standard locks. Think I may have figured it out by altering the shaft on the lock. Will see.
