What's wrong with the hidden latches? The ones I've seen work pretty good..I'm planning on using them on mine

I have bought the ones from Mar-K and they work great,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but the little rubber O ring wears out and hard to find

I guess you don't believe me when I say that they won't work. The part of the pin that extends into the outer part of the bedside hits not on the flat section but on the curved part of the stake pocket.

Never said I didn't believe you....only asked what's wrong...show us some better pictures of what's going on..it may be they're installed wrong...
I'm with solid...the ones from mar k are nice.. |

I know they're nice...I had a set of them. Thats why I know they won't work in my situation. I'm looking for other options.

I've seen people use seat belt buckles for tailgate latches...obviously not hidden, but inside of tailgate and look okay. I'll try to attatch a link to a photo. Not mine.

LMC Trucks, and instead of the cables I'm doing Mar-k 102834S Tail Gate Link Assembly Stainless Steel.
