My Tub :-)

Heres a pic of my freshly Por-15ed tub. Be sure to have all body parts covered when spraying this stuff, hehe. I had gloves on and a short sleeve shirt, yep I'm a goon, lol. I think I took a layer of skin off trying to get it off. The tub turned out nice though. I still need to go back with a brush and go over a few places, but for the most part it should last a long time. I highly recommend Por-15.

That looks nice! How did you spray it? Did you have to thin it any? Any idea what size nozzle on your gun? I want to do the same thing to the inside of my tub. Thanks, Jeff.

I had to thin it, 2 ounces solvent - 4 ounces of Por-15. I found a cheap easy way to paint. At your local hardware store or Home Depot, go to the paint section. Look for a product called Preval Sprayer. Get that and a couple Preval Power Units. Basically what it is and does is this. Its a small spray can (propellent) that screws to a glass jar (holds the solvent and paint). The system work great, I've been using it alot at work (refurbing fitness equipment). Thanks. I think I'll thin mine out like you were saying and try it in my new spray gun. If nothing else, its easy to clean up when its still wet. Jeff.

Be careful using you new spray gun. I know a guy that ruined his gun spraying Por-15. Thats why I used the Preval thing, its a cheap way to go. No worries about goofing up a nice gun.

Hmmm. Good call. I'd hate to destroy my new paint gun. Maybe your way would be better. How much did this setup you got run? Jeff.

It would run 7-15 dollars depending on how many extra spray bottles you go through. Definitely cheaper than a new spray gun. Go check them out and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I've been spraying POR15 with my primer gun with no issues. Clean it up soon after use and thoroughly.

And ditto on a full body condom when spraying....lol

Hey Guys,

Anyone ever try one of those fertilizer or bug sprayers?Like a 1 time deal.The kind that has a handle on the top and you pump it. It may work like a undercoating sprayer. Just was wondering?????

Yep, got a ton of work ahead. Found a neat drill bit made just for spot welds, makes it a bit easier. Tearing the Blazer down next weekend. I'll post some pics of my fun then, lol.
