Lokar Boot Options

I have a 63 C10 and I recently installed a lokar floor shifter. I have been looking for a rubber boot that will fit the 5/8" shaft. I know they sell their own "leather" style boot, but I am not a fan and I am looking for something a little more traditional to the period. Has anyone found a good looking boot that will fit? Thanks in advance

Re: Lokar Boot

I guess our trucks didn't have a boot, but rather a thick donut on the underside.
But something like one of these might work for your case:

Re: Lokar Boot

I have the standard old Hurst style boot on mine. It fits over the round shaft fine and has the old school look.

Re: Lokar Boot

LostMy65, I like the first ebay post, need to find out the inner diameter. PGSigns, the Hurst boots that I have seen have been too small to fit below the bend on the lokar shift rod, did you have to make any modifications to yours? Thanks

Re: Lokar Boot

The Rocknrod, I like those options and they look like they might fit. The top one looks very similar to my original manual shift boot, but I kinda like the two below. Do you have a link to their site?

Re: Lokar Boot

The Rocknrod, Thank you. Their way to order isn't the most user friendly, but I did order the lower boot w/ retainer ring. Fingers crossed, hopefully it will fit!

Re: Lokar Boot

I hope the rubber is of good quality too. Would suck if it cracks and splits.

Re: Lokar Boot

Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to update. The boot came in and it fits perfectly, also the rubber looks to be pretty good
