Chasing an electrical gremlin
I hope i explain this correctly and also hope other can direct me to the possible fix?
When I pull the headlight switch out to the first position the hood running light and tail lights come on. When I press the brake pedal the passenger side brightens but NOT the drivers side. BUT when I pull the switch to out fully to turn on the head lights, the tail light out out? Any pointers? 21 circuit from E-Z wiring is what is installed Thanks

Re: Chasing an electrical gremlin
I believe the tail light is a two filament bulb -- one being running light and one being brakes. If the drivers side doesn't brighten, it would mean either the filament is bad or there's a bad wire going to that particular filament.
I BELIEVE the front parking lights are supposed to go out when you turn on the headlights -- is it possible you got the front and back parking lights reversed? B |

Re: Chasing an electrical gremlin
The hood lights go out when the headlight come on as they should, no matter the position of the switch, I still have power to the brake switch when I press the brake as I should as well. The dash and front end works as they should, its the brake lights that are making me crazy.
