will a 65 c10 cab bolt onto a 67 frame?
I have a 65 c10 can and box and have a chance to purchase a 67 c10 short box frame. Will the cab bolt to the frame or are the body mounts different?

Sorry for the type o I meant cab. And someone told me the rear cab mounts are only a little off? How far is the front radiator off?

no 63-66wont just bolt on 67-72 you have to Relocate front and Fabricate rear of cab mounts
The bed can be bolted to the back but I made up the front and center mounts . It is a sweet set up Dic power brakes pw steering Big brake in back and a soft ride (stock) would post pic.... but due to photobucket issues I'm in search of a third party jpeg hosting site ....s . .

The front frame horns need changed, the radiator support mounts and rear cab mounts need changed. It is possible you could get away with just using the '67-'72 rear cab mount rubbers and not have to change the bracket on the frame. The '67 frame does have the correct bolt pattern for a power steering box, but you still need four 1/4" thick spacers.
If you have top pay someone to make all of these changes for you plus buy the '67 frame, you might compare that cost to what it would cost to just have your original long wheelbase frame shortened. The one big advantage to keeping your original frame is that the VIN on the frame will match the VIN on the cab.

Thank you everyone for the input. I pulled the trigger on the frame lastnight I think I can make some modifications and make it work. It comes with 2nd gen camaro engine cradle and suspension. And the rear frame is narrowed with a narrowed 9 in rear axle.

It sounds like there isn't much of it that is still a '67 frame. Likely just under the cab. Hopefully you didn't buy someone's disaster. Good luck.

Keep your existing frame. Put the new stuff under your truck and frame.

Thats funny. "Hey guys should I...?" - "No you shouldn't do that because..." - "I went ahead and pulled the trigger..."
