How hard is it to put glass, regulators, vent windows onto doors?

Title says it all! I may have found a good deal on OEM doors.....Mine are pretty rusty and would require a lot of welding rehab. These are empty shells though....how hard to put all the stuff onto them?

The swap over of the door internals is not complicated....it usually takes me about 1 1/2 hours per door...

I always replace the window channel felts and wipers ( inner and outer).

When you pull the window regulator mechanism out, I always give it a good check over...if ok a good lube with white grease...if bad, time to swap in a new one...especially check the rollers that go into the channels...they are available aftermarket.

I always give the inside of doors a good clean out and a hard hit with bed liner spray...then make sure the drain ports in bottom of doors are totally clean.

Good time to check out the door hinges and pivot pins...

Have fun...

I sure need to do mine some day... my door windows have scratches being original, and the vent windows on each side do not match. Also the window crank post on one side is longer than the other - not sure how that happened..

I should mention - one wing window is painted, and the other with the stainless trim

Your door with the longer crank post is 72, to clear the plastic door panels unique to that year.
