We'd like to introduce our Hood Strut Kit for 81-91 Chevy & GMC Squarebody Trucks & SUV's.
They will work with factory inner fenders, no inner fenders, SloshTubz, & most custom inner fenders.

Is that as far as the hood opens with these struts? The stock set up looks to open much further, but I understand that this is for tub/tire clearence.

We designed our kit to have the hood open about even with the top of the cab for a nice look at shows.

It's roughly 27" from the top of the radiator support to the bottom edge of the hood in the center of the truck.

If you need more access you can simply pop the struts off the ball studs on one end & then use a temporary hood prop.

At your own discretion, you can move the pivot points a little to gain more hood opening but we designed our kit & pivot point location for the best result with the struts provided.

Can they be modified to work for a 75 C10? What is the difference? Are you designing a kit for the 73-80 guys? Thanks
