USA made replacement tie rod

Hey everyone,
A majority of my steering and handling issues from my previous thread were cured with new leaf bushings. Since my tie rod is bent, I searched the forums and all I could find was 73+ conversion, crossover or a junkyard replacement. I'll be replacing all the steering components as well as installing a dropped pitman arm.

Original thread:

I found this, made by Rare Parts in Stockton, CA. P/N RP27644. It was $175. It measures up to the original perfect and accepted the Moog replacement ends.

Just wanted to share in case any of you are looking for a new replacement tie rod. My apologies if this was already common knowledge.

Is this the same part? If so, what a mark up.

That looks like the same part. That's a huge mark up! I paid $172.75 with $25.71 shipping from car parts discount on a eBay. Got it in a week.

Only $161 on their direct website now. Oops!
