Chevy hood on a GMC
Just curious and I need some advice I have a 72 Gmc but I bent the hood up where I want to replace it with a original painted hood. I found a perfect hood but it is a Chevy with the Chevy emblem in the center. Has anyone switched the Chevy emblem to the GMC letters but do any of the holes for the Chevy emblem interfere or are exposed behind the Gmc letters? Thanks

Re: Chevy hood on a GMC
Well, I have not tried it , but I bet NONE of the drilled holes are going to line up. My "new" 71 Chevy has a GMC hood installed.......so , if you were on the east coast we would just swap.

Re: Chevy hood on a GMC
The letter M fits in the bow tie emblem holes. You will have to drill holes for the G and C.
