New guy from BC Canada

Hey guys,

Just joined up, I’m from BC in Canada. This summer I bought myself a 1949 GMC 1 ton that was just a cab and chassis. I’m currently in the process of stripping it down and getting all the body panels inside so I can do some metal work over the winter.

The plan is an s10 frame and an LS engine for stage one. Then possibly bag it for stage 2 and boost for stage 3.

Just thought I’d introduce myself.

Hey GMC Rodder, welcome to the website....from another Canuck and there are a bunch on here.
Its an excellent, respectful community and the knowledge base is immense.
I highly recommend spending the $25 or whatever it is to become a full member which will allow you to buy or sell stuff on the site, which can be a big advantage and usually pays for itself pretty quickly....particularly if you are starting or are in the middle of a 'project'.
Regardless, you will probably see quite a few builds in that section that will be in line with what you have planned.

Regardless....welcome!
