The Beast has a new home.

Well traded my 1 ton GM 4wd Bad boy truck for a 2012 Wildcat sidexside with major upgrades and tracks, a great all year round Off road buggy w big balls. Time to look for a new project.

Thinking of a lowrider 2wd Chevy 67-72 this round, hv 1 picked out.

Re: The Beast has a new home.

Well the Wildcat is sweet but gone also, had a chance to trade for a 68 Chevelle SS396 Pro street car, 4 link and all, just a beauty so went that way, need to be on the street, also found a great deal on a 72 3/4ton Chevy long 2wd V8 truck for cheap, so all is great.

WOW nice chevelle! 68 is my favorite year, and that one looks nicely built. I was also partial to your 1 ton. Nice rides!

Re: The Beast has a new home.

Thanks a lot for the comments, just took it to the city for a cruise weekend, were about 900 plus cars there, also 3 nights of old skool bands, was great to cruise late at night for the weekend. Car is a back half car, 4 link and coil overs with monster MT Sportsman tires, 31x18.5x15". Not a great tire for the car, super cool looking but ripps them up like nothing, fun doing it though. The original # matching 396 with the large oval port heads is still in the car, has 10.5:1 pistons, a full roller plus balanced and blueprinted, 750 DP Holley w Hooker Stainless steel headers, Magnaflows and and old style Performer intake, nothing really special, so around the 475hp mark, could use more in my book, will later but love the roller engine, revs so quick and works flawlessly w the manual auto T350 w a B/M 3,000 stall. Wanted to take it to the track, went and watched alcohol and jet cars but no time for mine, not sure the Sportsman tires would do any good, need some ET streets. More stuff to buy right. Fun car.

Re: The Beast has a new home.

No Chevelle, very cool car to look at, but our roads up here in the North are just way to much for that much tire, like riding on big balloons, just bought my 71 K10 back for the 4th time, got it locked down now with more plans and also bought a custom bobber bike, last bike was 30 years ago so nothing in the car outlook for now...maybe.

Re: The Beast has a new home.

Yeah I made a good trade to get it back after being gone for 4 years, the guy I sold it to had bought it for a father son truck to use at their garage/service station but passed away within a few months and his son didn't have to heart to use it so let it sit all 4 years, only have 1,600 miles on more than when I sold it to them, he listed it on kijiji and didn't know anything about it, a buddy told me and I gave him all the details to help him sell it and we ended up trading for a Mustang I took on trade, best day ever in a long time, so sitting on it now with future updates coming, had 3 good cash offers for it but no, not for sale.
Sure love these old trucks, makes me smile.
