1984 chevy cab/chassis
I just acquired a 1 ton C&C and want to lower it 5/7 like a lot of trucks pictured on this site. I was looking at the 14 bolt rearend and noticed that the spring perch is cast. Do I still use the same flip kits as a Dually pickup. Any recommendations about which company to use for the the parts. I bought this truck because it has zero rust. thanks for any help.

I can't answer your question, but I can welcome you to the forum and say congrats on getting your truck.

What's the chassis?
My 84 1 ton C&C has a stack of leafs a dump truck would be proud of. Wouldn't you have to throw all that away to lower it? DRW or SRW? Tom |

Re: 1984 chevy cab/chassis
Its a DRW cab and chassis. Yes it has a bunch of leaves but leaving out the overloads. I think the rest of the rear is like a Dually, 14 bolt just a little shorter is all.
