Brake booster on frame?
Has anybody ever heard of relocating the brake booster and master cylinder to the frame? It would make the firewall look much nicer. please let me know any info.
Thanks! |

I have seen this done on the 50's style trucks, try www.brotherstruck.com they have a kit for the 50's trucks might be able to get with them to see if you can retro fit it to your application......... dont see why it wouldnt work......

If you get it figured out let us know. I've been thinking about the same thing. If I smooth out the heater opening I hate leave the booster on the firewall. Thanks

Yeah I am going for the same appearance. I wonder if my old heater assembly is worth anything?

I have seen this setup installed on streetrods. May take some work for a truck but I feel it can be done. I really like the look of the polished billet resevoir on the firewall.
