Had visors, seats, door panels, headliner done at a local upholstery shop. They have access to a large selection of materials. And could probably match the seat.

Thumbs up Re: Anybody Redo Door Panels ??

I've done 3 sets for my 71 & 67 both. 2 for the 71 & 1 for the 67. I bought 99 Tahoe seats and recovered them plus added heat to them. I also did the dash and steering wheel myself. The door panels I bought the backing board took it home made the pattern and then had the local upholstery guy cover them. I did the same thing to the 67 on the door panels not the other stuff.

What I have now in the 71.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Anybody Redo Door Panels ??

I currently do not have door panels, but bookmarked this ebay seller for a possibility when I look into putting some on.

https://www.ebay.com/usr/rrachal11

I guess they can make door panels in vinyl for $100. You could always contact them for other materials or options.

Took the original panels, removed the raised section (1972) and had a friend re-upholster them. Also had the headliner done with a matching pattern.

Re: Anybody Redo Door Panels ??

My regular steel door panels seem like they're bent inward. Is the mating surface supposed to basically be flat? I'd like to recover them but they're so wonky makes about 1/2' to an 1" gap between the handles and the panel. Thinking about just getting new ones.

I had this done to my 72 panels, dash pad and visors to match the buddy buckets. Board member crsweet91 did it. Don't know if he's still around. Haven't seen him post on here in along time.Name: IMG_1389.jpg
