Length of Speedo Cable
I need a to order a new speedo cable and have not removed existing one yet, anyone know the length of stock one? Thanks

Don't recall the length but if ordering for a 4x4 as I did for my '71 K10 it will be longer than normal 2wd cable. I had mine removed and laid out when I ordered it on line. Just don't recall who I ordered it from. Thinking it was from GMC Paul. He has good parts and good customer service.

I have a complete spare one in the shop I just measured.....looks very close to 63" to 64" long....noting that it doesn't have to be exact...there is enough space and slack in the route to easily work either of those dimensions successfully.
To my recollection it was from a '69 3/4 ton, 2wd. Coley

I swapped trannies on my 2wd and need about 10" longer. I need to take old one out anyway. Thought if someone knew I could order one Thanks
