Re: Garage interior finish
I like that idea of the 3' metal Coach. I think I'll use that on my walls. I was already planning to use the OSB but the addition of the metal on the bottom would help protect from scrapes and bumps as well as moisture protection in case I want to scrub and spray out the floor occasionally.

Re: Garage interior finish
I used 1/2 in. OSB on the walls and tin siding on the ceiling. It is not finished in this picture, it has changed quite a bit since then.
You need to go to the garage journal and check out some of the garages there, you will spend hours (days) looking at them. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/index.php Jim |

Re: Garage interior finish
I was going through my old threads and found this one I totally gapped out... here is a pic of the garage after I got it all done.
Went with 1/2 cdx all around painted white and caulked the seam between the wall and ceiling. Turned out really good. Ended up having to install more joists to make the garage 24" on center (was 48" on center). Also grinded the floor with my 4 1/2" grinder and painted epoxy. |

Re: Garage interior finish
I wish my garage floor was flat enough to allow sanding! Seriously, my garage floor must have been poured during an earthquake.
Nice looking garage man. |

Re: Garage interior finish
How did you get the OSB to turn out that smooth? That looks very nice.
