I have a question (?). I have a mid to late 80's 12 bolt 5 lug 1/2 ton rear end . Will the gear's ( 3rd member) fit or interchange with a 69 12bolt 6 lug 1/2 ton rear end. Befor I start tearing things apart. PLEASE HELP My only means of trasportation right now.

Yes, it should go right in. You will have to set up the gears though.
