Upholstrey
Hey guys I have a 72 highlander, and am new to the rebuild process on these trucks. I'm in search of replacing my seat covers. The back of the seat cover is original and in decent shape, I'd like to keep it all original. Any sources would help and be appreciated!
Thanks -seth- |

Re: Upholstrey
I purchased the fabric from SMS Fabrics and had a local shop make the cover. All done for around $700. Goodluck!

Re: Upholstrey
The only vendors that carry an assembled ready-to-install highlander covers are member Truckseats (Tim) or Southwest Classics in TX. I went with Tim, he uses SMS material for these. If you want original, make sure they have the correct scrolling on the parchment vinyl - some places may not. Tim and Southwest are good to go. Cost on par with what Lanman spent, no way around it, they are expensive whichever way you go. But worth it.
EDIT: I may have misread your post - if you just want to replace the plaid on the bottom and don't want a whole seat cover, then yes, SMS is your best bet. Last edited by jocko; 11-12-2017 at 01:27 PM. |

Re: Upholstrey
I have a yard or so extra from sms. I only need enough for two buckets and a small bench. I will post pics if you want to buy a yard or so for the bottom bench.

Re: Upholstrey
Just unwrapped my package from sms and I believe the color is wrong. It seams darker more navy. I'm gonna compare to my original seat and report back.
