Brothers Tilt Column - Over seas model

Just working on my Manual to Auto conversion, want to go with a new tilt steering column, column shift. Brothers has a cheaper one for $399 (chrome), anybody familiar with it?

You get what you pay for. I have never heard anything good about any of the aftermarket tilts.

You’re much better off to watch the forsale threads or contact member Kevsclassics for one of his rebuilt columns. Money well spent.

I bought one of those 300-400 dollar columns once (not from same vendor). Not saying that the column you are looking at is the same. I never did know who made it but it was total junk from beginning. I used it for a couple months and then bought an ididit column that was perfect. I bought a rebuilt 72 column for my 70 here in the parts section. Having it installed this week. Good luck.

I bought an unpainted, tilt, floor shift column made by Ididit from MCB Matt (forum member and parts vendor). I paid $395 for it with free shipping. This column is the cats ass. Nicely put together and works great!

If it's not made by Flaming River or Ididit... skip it.

I picked up one from JohnnyLaw a couple of weeks ago - I am hoping that it is better than this thread makes them to be :/ Tilt with no sifter. Will post opinions once installed and tested.
