UPS man stopped by......
Now if I can figure out where to start.
 j/k, I've already got a great start and Richard Morgan helped me out tonight. I thought I was a perfectionist but he's really a perfectionist and has some great ideas too. I'll post some pics of the installed wiring soon.

Can't wait to see. Ugly wiring can sure make a nice ride look like crap. When I bought mine everything was wire loomed even the heater hoses.

Hey Randy, Please post detailed pics and info. I plan on getting a painless kit for my truck and would really like to see what you do and any problems you run into.
Did you start by just "RIPPIN" all the old stuff out? Thanks 70short/step

My wifes truck was a total resto so we had already stripped the cab clean when we started. I helped a little when popeye72 installed his painless kit and the only thing to be aware of that I can remember is that the hole in the firewall where all the wires come through needs to be cut bigger. I had a Painless kit that I installed in my old Model A and never had a single problem with it.
......I'm not a big fan of wire looms either. |

1970 K25, 8' stepside bed 350/465/205 44 up front, 60 in the rear 4.10s rolling on 33" Dunlop MTs 1986 K5, 350/465/208 Dana 60/14 bolt from a cucv 36" Super Swampers TSL/SX 1983 K20 w/ CUCV axles, 350/700R4/208 sitting on 37" Goodyears 1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now..... 1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

Who did you order your painless kit from? Is it the kit specific for 67-72 chevy pickups or just the universal one? The best price I found for the 67-72 kit was $375.. I dont know what they usually run for... I'll be looking for more updates on your project... Thanks!

Whats in the two bags? Can you show detail a pic of what this stuff is? It looks like I might need some extra pieces. The only thing I got in a bag was the headlight connectors and resistor.

The turn signal relays are in there too. Yours may already be on the fuse block.
