Door lock rod removel.
I got the panel off on the donor truck and was wanting to remove the lock rod. I am going to see if I can find info in a book. In the mean time does anyone know how to remove this ?

I have always removed it with the door latch. Getting to the clip is a little tough (or my fingers are too fat!).
When installing a latch, I install the rod on first and feed it in. Jim |

There are 3 bolts to remove on the edge of the door and 1 to loosen the window track if you need to move it a bit. Then reach in give it a pull, then a twist and it should drop out. Just make sure the window is all the way up when you remove it. We just replaced the latch assembly on my drivers side door.

I'll have to give it a try. I need to swap one side on my 67 from the parts truck.
