Using totally portable blue tooth speaker for entire system?
I have been looking into something like this for the K5.
Let me be able to keep the stock Am/FM in the dash and be able to remove for security. Is it feasible to use a converter to power it while in the truck? Seems like it should work. Ideas? Thoughts? Thank you PG https://www.sony.com/electronics/hi-fi-systems/gtk-xb90 |

I would think you could do that without issue. I don't know the power requirements but wiring up an inverter with a relay and toggle switch and you could run all kinds of things. Just keep an eye on your battery levels when using it with the truck off.

Re: Using totally portable blue tooth speaker for entire system?
Cool thanks.
I actually got the itch and bought the sony unit it works fine but is annoying a bit with the sound all coming from one spot. Also the fact you have to use their app and its slow to respond if you want to turn up or down change etc. Anyway not sure I will stick with it but for now I have something working on my newest old truck. Thanks PG |

You could get a 2 or 4 channel amp with Bluetooth built in
