used 350,396,454

im looking for a used 350,396, or a 454 for my truck. my price range is around $700. if anyone has anything like this let me know and id like to have some specs on the motor...like miles, and condition. id like a 95+ chevy/gmc vortec motor.

i have a 402( .030 396) that is dissasembled, it needs a rebuild including pistons. i am in SW iowa if you are interested

Where are you located? There is a local guy in INDY that has a complete running 454 with all acessories from an 85 or 86 Suburban. He was asking $800.

Shipping would be brutal wouldn't it? I am guessing a big block with all the accessories probaly weighs 700-800 lbs.
