What is this part called?
My seat is missing this on one side. It is the stud that holds the seat in place. Keeps the back from folding forward.

Re: What is this part called?
Hey, even if I can't find one, it is VERY similar to a door striker. maybe one of those will work. Thanks!

Re: What is this part called?
Here you go. Get with KrazyRay, he might have one. I have some, but I can’t give any up, they have to stay with my seats I’m restoring. He has been my “go to guy”, when ever I’m missing bolts on my seats. They just don't make these bolts anymore.

Re: What is this part called?
Thanks.
I was tempted to leave them off, as that extra 1" of lean in the seat would sure be nice (at 6'3") but then the seat would rub and fall forward. Maybe I will see if modifying those strikers, or building something else, will get me that extra inch!

Re: What is this part called?
Sounds like a plan, I can see where the added lean would help in your case. But I wouldn't worry about the seat back "falling forward". Gravity will keep it back. All the 81-87 seats, they don't lock. They just lay back against a stop bolt.

Re: What is this part called?
So if I remove the stop bolt (striker...?) and the seat lays against the rear wall, you think it would hurt anything? I suppose I could mount a couple rubber "stops" to the back wall.
Might be nice to have that extra lean. but I'd hate to screw up my new seat cover.
