Where can I find original style key blanks for door and ignition for a '71?

There is a guy in Cali that sometimes has them here on the parts board .You might look back a ways and find him and see if he still has some .Chances are your GM dealer wont have them .

Lots of choices on eBay. Here's an example for "A" code key blanks.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-OF-2-19...1ZyoTS&vxp=mtr Just be sure you order the correct coded blank for your locks. For example, my '69 keys are "E" code. I had the local True Value store cut mine. Harpo is correct, they do use the same key. ('67-'72) GM went to the two key system for the trucks in '73. I do have some OEM blanks. LockDoc
