Need Part located
Looking for a replacement part for my 1966 GMC 4000. 305C . The rod that pushes the plunger into the master cylinder broke and needs to be replaced. I want to keep truck as original as possible so am looking for an OEM replacement, new or used. Any Ideas?

Re: Need Part located
Some time keeping it factory is some times not possible.Or safe.A long time friend had 3 of these trucks He was the Factory man But parts come up short. An being safe is the real deal about driving these trucks.heaven forbids you lose your brakes and you can't stop for a kid on a Bmx bike. You will never drive one of them trucks again.
I'm all about safety. So hydro boosted for these trucks is perfect.Running newer disc brakes front and rear.if i'm going to drive it and work it I want nothing but the best.Any time when my truck has to go in for a safety inspection. I want the guy to say WOW impressive. The outside can be factory but what ever is for safety.Needs to be upgraded.Power steering power brakes a good heater.if you want to spend the money have have a real nice mover Running the New LS 6.0 with the Allison 9 or 10 speed trans.if you want AC put it in and Air ride.Make the truck more enjoyable to drive. So later down the road when the truck needs to be sold.It rakes in the cash |
