Steering column wiring

Have you fellas that have added cruise with the blinker switch been able to run the wires down through the inside of your column? The innards of the steering column have always been something that I try to stay away from, but I don't wanna run this cruise wire on the outside of the column if I can help it.

Yes, it does fit, but you will want to run it through the metal chase under the column
