Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
Wow, thanks for sharing the pics. I like the options on the TKE242 with the cap. I'd like to buy one that color with options like that..

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
I just about bought a 68 C60 crew cab like those. But the cab had rust and where they did the cab butting was rusty/rough so I passed. I don't like the double front door look either. I know a guy that has a K20 version. It came from Minnesota when he got it. I'm not sure if he has changed anything on the truck or not lately.

^ I agree, I'm not too excited about that conversion, doesn't look right.. now if they put suburban third doors on there.....

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
I’m gonna say 70 because it is series i.e. 20 specific and it’s a 400 under the camper badge and not under the marker light.... I know 72 is on the door. 69 would have been 396. 67-68 are a different style badge but still on the fender.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
It is a 1970. First year of the 402 (badged 400) last year of engine size emblem under the fender emblem.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
67c30 pm me your adress
57taskforce To me it just looks out of place. You just see 396 so much in that place And 400 on the front of the fender I had to read a bit to make sure it wasn’t tagged incorrectly But don’t worry, I have more hats |

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’
My '70 SWB 402 truck had a cool oddity. The engine, as we know, was a 402. The fender badges were CST/10 400. The SPID lists the 402 as a 396. 1970 was a weird year for GM with the strike and everything, but the decision to badge the 402 as a 400 the same year that Chevy started offering the 400 SBC (not in these trucks) was a goofy decision. It created (and still creates) a lot of confusion.
