There are a few people making the conversion mounts. Generally, you'll need to go with an electric fuel pump since the adapter plate covers the mechanical fuel pump location.

Re: 292 motor mounts used in swap!

Don't know the right or wrong of it but I used a driver side motor mount and three 1" spacers. The spacers were made out of 3/8" galvanized pipe placed between the block and the motor mount. Poor mans fix and everything is straight and level. The benefit is being able to use the mechanical fuel pump.

I stand corrected. The bottom two bolts are the ones with the 1" spacer. I do have photos takes today. All I need to do is find a way to add photos.

Re: 292 motor mounts used in swap!

When I was doing my search it seamed like nobody had them or they wanted an are and a leg for them. Since I am not doing a correct restoration I made do. As far as Mickey is concerned what I did was structurally sound.

If The Captain can't help you, I have one I will sell for $40.00 plus whatever for shipping. I assume this is for a 2wd? Mine came out of a 66.

Re: 292 motor mounts used in swap!

I will have to look and see if I do still have any. Do you need just the passenger side?
