Bull bar
I just picked up this bull bar and was wondering if anyone knows what brand it is? It came off a '69

Re: Bull bar
Don't know what brand, but does it allow you to get at the hood latch?

Re: Bull bar
It's awkward but there is room. I may do a little fab to make it fit more to my liking.

Re: Bull bar
Don't think it's a Hickey, but not certain. If it was bought back in the 70's, it could be. But I think most of their stuff was marked somewhere. No markings at all on this one I take it? It could be homemade. While it fits the bumper profile nicely, I've never seen a mass-produced one that leans back so far or has the sharp exterior corners.

Re: Bull bar
I haven't really looked it over good for markings. Sorry but it was super cold out and has been sitting in the garage since I bought it.
I was wondering a bit if it wasn't a kit of some sort. The welds on all the tabs are different from the cross bars. Sure they could have been added but even the welds at the cross bars are mediocre. |

Re: Bull bar
I've been looking for one, in chrome or black I don't care. But my 68 always had one and has disappeared somewhere over the years.
