Turbo log manifold question
Should there be any concern about having the primaries straight out like this?? I started with elbow and it was a compound angle PITA. I see the dirty dingo ($$$$) log as the only reference which used straight primaries... will I be fine.

Re: Turbo log manifold question
It's not ideal, but it won't cause any problem that I can think of. I mean old iron log manifolds aren't that much better internally sometimes.

Re: Turbo log manifold question
Can you just set the log back a little bit and set the primaries on a low angle? What you want to avoid is the air getting forced out directly into the wall of the tube at a 90* angle.

Re: Turbo log manifold question
when I started with the elbows, the elbow was getting so short compared the to the ID that it was essentially straight. I am also basing my judgments off others i see. does that make it right. no. sigh. I wish i wasn't so cheap

Re: Turbo log manifold question
Turbulence in your manifolds is a big part of how efficient your turbo is. What you have will work but isn't ideal
