Re: C5 Corvette Chassis Build 1967 C10 Truck
I thought the chassis builder's name sounded familiar, so I checked them out.
I'm not a Ford guy at all, but they are the one's that built the Ford Mach 40, which blew me away when I first saw it. They are also building another C10 on the same chassis that they sold you. Very cool stuff going on there

Very cool build! If I can get a Vette, or my truck ready in time bowling Greene sounds like a great destination, either way, I'll stay tuned in

Awesome idea, can't wait to see the results. My brother lives in the 'boro. I really want to come see this in person next time I'm up that way.

Re: C5 Corvette Chassis Build 1967 C10 Truck
Well the progress has been slow. The owner had put the truck on pause due to tons of money invested into real estate. We just got the green light to go back to work! We are busy on my 71 frame off resto. Here are some pictures. The last picture is a 72 LB i picked up Friday.

What's the name of your shop? I'm over here in Cookeville, I'm driving a '72 Frankenstein right now, waiting to put a '67 body on. Nice project your working on. I got a '73 Stingray, we set a Guinness World Record in 2015 with the most Corvettes on the Tail of the Dragon in one day.........Good Luck with your build!

Re: C5 Corvette Chassis Build 1967 C10 Truck
Any insights as to why the C5 over a C6 chassis? Knowing that C6 front hubs and spindles are beefier I would be interested in the other factors in your decision. Thanks for the information and the thread.

Re: C5 Corvette Chassis Build 1967 C10 Truck
Vettenuts last activity was in December. My guess is the owner had to put the build on hold, again.
