I'm trying to stick one behind a ZZ502 that I will run some kind of EFI on. If there was an EFI setup that offered throttle body injector control AND gm transmission control, that'd be perfect.

As it is, though, it'll likely need to be standalone. And I did find one controller but it's $900 as you expected, and I have no idea how well it works:

Pretty funny when you consider the trans is still running itself, this just "pretends" to be the engine ECM master I guess. They said it needs a TPS and TACH and that's it.
