Lowered 1987 3/4 ton

Hello everyone, first post here. Ill get right to it, i have a 1987 Chevy R20, and its lowered about 4 up front and a little more then 5 inches out in the rear. Im currently looking at getting some new steel wheels from Detriot Steel Wheels and i have a few questions about wheel fitment. Im thinking about going 20x9 up front and 20x11 in the rear. Right now i have 16x8s all around with -06 offset and it seems up front i could fit another .5-.75 inches of backspacing easily(.25-.5 on front side of wheel) and in the rear i would like to add another 2 inches of backspacing with -31mm offset as this would get me another inch out. Sorry seems like a lot, any help would be greatly appreciated. I realize 20x9 and 20x11 might be too big and if thats the case ill go 20x8 and 20x9(they dont have 20x10s)

Thanks

Eastwood I believe sells a offset measuring tool that is awesome.

It can hold tires and you can adjust the back spacing on the fly while cycling the suspension through it's motions.

Down side is you have to remove the front springs to fully use it, but a small trade off if you want the ultimate look.

-.06 or -6?
-.06 would be close to 4.5"bs & -6 would be about 4.25"bs.

Their listed BS range is 2.75 - 4.75" max on the 20x8; 3 - 6" on the 20x9, & 3.25 - 7.5" on the 20x11.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Lowered 1987 3/4 ton

Out of the choices SCOTI listed, I would do a:
20x8 with 4.75 bs and a 20x9 with 4.5 bs.
I’d rather have a 5” bs up front.
That why backspacing is normally personal preference.
(How much YOU like your wheels to tuck)

So my wheels now have -06 offset so wouldnt that mean more front spacing(4.25) than backspacing(3.75)? I definitely cannot go out any further on the front wheels, probably have to go in a little such as 4 inch front spacing, and 4 inch back spacing. In the rear probably gonna go out .75 inches on the front spacing and 2.25 inches more to the backspacing(20x11). I have measured with the rear wheels on and there seems to be plenty room for more backspacing without running into the truck. Im gonna post some pictures so you guys can see what it looks like now.
