I'm not even sure how you could do that if you tried. Poor guy!

Re: Can Your Truck Burn Out ?
After destroying a 57 bel air rear end with wheel hop in my youth (granted, that was a while ago), the only thing I burn these days is my oil, a little bit at a time. I can't stop laughing about the bed board comment - that was the same thing I thought when I saw it....

Re: Can Your Truck Burn Out ?
I wouldn't know. Never saw any sense in burnouts, so never tried. My K2500 gives a scirch hitting second when I get on it, though, with posi rear too.

Re: Can Your Truck Burn Out ?
I never saw much point in doing a burnout either..... but I do them all the time anyway.

Re: Can Your Truck Burn Out ?
My truck can do burnouts if I really try, but I rarely try. That guy should probably have done a little bit of preventative maintenance on his truck.
My mustang GT has burnout mode. I've never actually used it. It also has acceleration timers (with a drag strip christmas tree) and an accelerometer. Sometime I wish my older vehicles had that much technology, but most of the time I just embrace the simplicity and character of old cars as they were designed. |

Re: Can Your Truck Burn Out ?
This is how I feel also. My Dirty-Max will destroy back tires if I see fit, but it is just to quiet and civilized. On the other hand, nothing beats the sound of loud exhaust while your secondaries are being feathered!
