64' C10 Pitman Arm

Hello Team,

Well I am at the point of starting my power steering conversion/upgrade and have come to a small stop. I purchased Cardone 27-7512 P/S gearbox along with Cap'n Fab's adapter kit but did not purchase the pitman arm. From what I have been reading the pitman arm needs to coincide with the P/S gearbox. Not sure if this is true or not so I'm reaching out for a life line here. Would anyone know which pitman arm I need to purchase? Thanks in advanced folks, and happy Monday!!!

What is the year application for that steering box? You just need a pitman arm that will work for the year of the steering box.

The intended application for that gear box is for late 70's Suburbans and Blazer. So if all I need to do is match the Pittman arm to the box then easy day. I appreciate the feedback on this.

It's a 2wd box correct?

I have been unable to tell if this box was intended for 2WD or 4WD as I did not consider that to be a factor prior to purchase. But from what I have been reading its applications include 1977-79 C10 Custom Delux, C10 Cheyenne just to name a few. Summit even has it listed to be compatible with the old Dodge Ramcharger.

If you haven't found one yet I believe that a Moog K6143 is what is listed for a '78 C10, power steering.
Double check online to verify.

Thanks Cal. I'm buckling down today and will pull the trigger on a pitman arm. Let me run down that PN you provided from Moog. Thx again
