Transmission High-Hump Gasket Seal
Is there a gasket to seal the transmission hump to the floor pan? If not, what to use for sealant?

Re: Transmission High-Hump Gasket Seal
Lay a good [~5/16''] bead of RTV, then lay wax paper over it -- so it only sticks to one side. Attach top panel on loose, but even, don't go all the way tight. Let cure 24 hours. Later, peel up wax paper, and bolt down. Should yeild a good water-tight seal that is reusable.

Re: Transmission High-Hump Gasket Seal
That is an awesome idea! I am replacing mine currently and bought the RTV last weekend. Thanks for sharing the tip!
