Wow! With your skills you could work at any high-end custom fab shop in the world. Those headers are a work of art. Your Dad raised an amazing young man.

Re: 1964 Sleeper | 5.3 | 75mm turbo | Caged | 4 Link

Thanks everyone! Sorry for lack of updates! Been working on getting the cab all finished up finally. I had a spray can of matching woodland green mixed up so I could match the replaced panels. Also sprayed some rocker guard on floor to make it al little more durable as there will be no carpet.

Really happy with how the cab turned out. There was a couple times when the cab was all cut apart I started searching the local classifieds for a new cab because I thought there was no way I would be able to pull of the rust repair.

And some more shots of the frame and motor.

Engine in!

Rolled it out today and got a cool shot with my dads and brothers trucks. 5 generations of chevy trucks!

I just removed most of the por15 from my frame. It would chip if I hit it with something then it would start to flake off in places. I ended up just shooting everything in epoxy. Hopefully you have better luck than I did!

How do you like por 15? I used a similar product called KBS and like it, so I was curious to see how you liked por 15.
