I say keep her just because she's a shorty no one want's a long bed anyway so right there your a 100% ahead of the game. As stated b4 its basically a factory shorty and if you ever sell her just tell the new to be owner it was changed over chances are good he won't care cuz he wants a shorty anyway!!!

As far as the a/c go's Rock Auto has a compressor kit for that truck cheep! factory replacement components Comp, R/D and orifice tube. I didn't ck but I'd bet they have the evap. and the cond. for it too.

I've used vintage AC they are good systems for car that didn't have factory AC. I just think your makin more work for your self goin that route, kinda reinventing the wheel.

I look at it like this it's got a factory a/c system why not use what's already there that stuff is around you just gotta look.

BTW She's a fine lookin Truck.
