69 c20 disc brakes
Hey guys, I just bought a 69 c20 camper special, I need new front brakes, it has disc brakes but all I can find info on is drum brakes for this year? being the camper special it has a lot of heavy duty parts compared to non specials, like rear springs not coils. so what I am trying to figure out is did it come with discs? or did someone swap out an entire front from a disc brake truck?

Re: 69 c20 disc brakes
Lucky you, someone upgraded it before you bought it! Take picture to show us; there are different manufacturers of disc brake setups. We'll be able to tell if it is factory style parts or an aftermarket setup.

Re: 69 c20 disc brakes
Looks like '71 or '72, because the flex line is in the back. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that. I was thinking of a pic with the wheel and tire off. But the brake hardware is pretty much the same for many years after that. The ball joints and other parts are different with the advent of the disc brakes, so if you are going to replace any you'll have to order parts for that, not '69.
